It’s been seven months since Lil Boosie, now Boosie Badazz, left prison. By the sound of his new song. ‘All Falls Down,’ it took him that long to gain some new perspective on his experience.
On the track, which comes from his mixtape, ‘Life After Deathrow,’ the Louisiana spitter gives details on the people that let him down during his stint, including his mistress and people he thought were his boys.
“My side bitch, she was gone after a couple of months / I should have left that ho alone after a couple of f—s / I ain’t forget, some n—-s ain’t send me s—, some hard times / N—–s who I f—ed with forgot my son’s Jordan size,” he spits, over a dark and haunting track that’s perfect for the song’s subject matter.
Boosie’s candid talk on the effort leads us to believe he made his circle of friends much smaller since leaving prison.
‘Life After Deathrow’ drops today (Oct. 30).
