Wiz Khalifa is dropping his new album, ‘Blacc Hollywood,’ tomorrow (Aug. 19), but he’s got one big announcement to make before the project arrives.
Taylor Gang Records, Wiz’s label, has signed a distribution deal with INgrooves Music Group, which will handle international distribution and marketing, Billboard reports.
“I’m really excited about this new partnership and cant wait to start pushing projects out,” he said in a statement.
INgrooves general manager Amy Dietz is also looking forward to the alliance. “Wiz has unsurprisingly assembled an impressive artist roster and executive team at Taylor Gang,” she told Billboard. “We look forward to bringing Taylor Gang’s artistic vision to listeners everywhere.”
With a roster that includes Ty Dolla $ign, Tuki Carter, Berner, J.R. Donato, singer Courtney Noelle and Juicy J, who also serves as one of the label’s execs, the first project to release under this deal is Pittsburgh rapper Chevy Woods’ new EP.
Taylor Gang Records opened its doors in 2011, and is based in Pittsburgh.
