Nipsey Hussle Arrested During a Store Raid in Los Angeles

Rapper Nipsey Hussle was arrested in Los Angeles during a police raid at a clothing store on Friday night (Aug. 29).


According to NBC Los Angeles, the incident happened at the Slauson Avenue Clothing at around 11:30PM. LAPD went to the store to investigate a probation complaint. The man suspected of violating his probation was arrested as well as Hussle who apparently interfered in the arrest.


Hussle, whose real name is Emmias Ashghedom, was charged with obstructing a peace officer.


The ‘Hussle In The House’ rhymer is scheduled to perform at the Made In America Festival in Los Angeles on Sunday (Aug. 31). No word on if this arrest will stop him from performing at the event.
