Robin Thicke Pours His Heart Out in 'Get Her Back' Video

Robin Thicke is extremely apologetic in his new video for ‘Get Her Back.’ The mostly black-and-white clip is the R&B crooner’s visual attempt to get his estranged wife Paula Patton back.

We’re not sure if it will work, but the clip is heavy to watch and a little creepy.

The video, directed by Jonas Akerlund, mixes shots of Thicke, who appears to be bloodied and bruised as he sings his “baby, please come back to me” lyrics, with images of a woman who resembles Patton. Text messages, apparently between the two, are also shown. Some of the on-screen messages include: “You drink too much. You embarrassed me. I can’t make love to you anymore. You ruined everything.”

The video ends with only one simple message that reads, “This is only the beginning.”

Thicke’s video has generated a tidal wave of slander on Twitter. Read some of the tweets below.

The soulful ballad ‘Get Her Back’ will appear on Robin Thicke’s seventh effort titled ‘Paula,’ which hits stores July 1.
