The Nike Lebron 11 ‘What The 2K14′ is a mashup of some of James’s more memorable releases over the course of his last 11 signature shoes. The extremely busy set of sneakers draws influence from 28 different colorways that each have their own individual meaning making this one of Nike‘s more interesting releases in recent memory.
Regardless to what you think is his greatest moment this drop covers a lot of ground including the Nike Lebron 8 “South Beach”, Nike Lebron 4 “Fruity Pebbles”, Nike Lebron 6 “Stewie Griffin” and Nike Lebron 7 “Red Carpet”. The nods are subtle in some cases and unintentionally loud in others but overall this is pair serves as cool crib notes for the this massive colorway hybrid.
Lebron’s career in making sneakers is akin a Jay Z’s career in making music and if you want to cop King James’ greatest hits compilation you’ve gotta wait a little over a month. These are set for a May 31st release and they will retail for $250 a pop.
