Lil Boosie Salutes the Hood in 'Show the World' Video with Webbie

Rapper Lil Boosie is officially back! The New Orleans rhymer dropped a new video for ‘Show the World,’ his first visual since his release from prison in March.

MTV Jams gets the privileged to premiere the black-and-white clip, which was directed by G. Visuals.

In the video, Bad Azz gives thanks to his supporters for holding him down while he was on locked down. Hoods from Los Angeles to New York to Washington, D.C., to Houston to London are represented in the visual.

“I just like to make people happy / Four kids, I just like being a good daddy / But I’m a gangsta and I rocks shows / A people person so you know Lil Boosie got h—s,” he raps over the piano-tickling track.

Lil Boosie hopes to connect with his fans soon. The ‘Wipe Me Down’ rhymer is plotting a major tour and is working on a new album.

“First I want to thank God for bringing me back because a lot of people counted me out,” he said at a press conference in March. “I went through some stuff in prison and you will hear that in the music.”
