The Sinaloa drug cartel of Mexico was turned on its head when cartel boss Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera, or "El Chapo," was arrested in late February after over a decade on the run.
In the above clip, a CNN reporter checks out one of the kingpin's many safehouses. Surprisingly, the home is rather spartan; however, this was all part of El Chapo's strategy of keeping a low profile.
As the reporter explains, a secret tunnel can be accessed under the home's bathtub. This leads to the city of Culiacan's sewer system, which connects to another safe house over a mile away.
