Miley Cyrus The Subject Of An Upcoming College Course (@mileycyrus)

A private liberal arts school in New York has found a new topic to teach this summer-Miley Cyrus.

According to Complex, "The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender, and Media" will be taught at Skidmore College. A description of the class reads, "From Disney tween to twerking machine, Miley Cyrus has grown up in the public eye, trying on and discarding very different identities onscreen and off. She provides rich examples for analyzing aspects of inter sectional identities and media representation."

The summer session will offer an in depth look into Miley's transition from child star to pop starlet.
