Legendary singer Anita Baker is a wanted woman in Detroit after failing to show up in court.
According to TMZ, the "Caught Up In The Rapture" singer is battling Ray Smith Painting and Decorating in court. The company claims that the singer owed $15,000 for services done to her home.
The bench warrant was issued on March 19.
Attorney Dan Gerow who represents the company told reporters, "I just want to collect the money,"
The singer is known for her hits from the 80's and 90's like "Sweet Love" and "Giving You the Best That I Got."
The singer tweeted Thursday that she is fine and thanked her fans for their support. "THANK YOU, for ALL the LOVE & LIGHT u've sent my way. All is well :) Light is Dim... But SHINING ANYway! Grateful 4 every lesson, ab"
