In this throwback clip from 92.3 The Beat's DJ Julio G, Q-Tip discusses the criticism he's received from some people for putting out "Amplified," his solo album.
The Queens rapper says it was all about making a change. "People need to have that open-mindedness to see that there can be room for change," he explains.
Q-Tip is then asked to comment on "Amplified," and he reveals that he's "extremely happy" with the results. "I'll stand by it...it's great to me, you know what I'm saying?"
