Model From The Weeknd Music Video Reveals She Was Born Male (@geenarocero)

Model and activist Geena Rocero left many shocked after she revealed at a TED Talk last week that she was born a male. Rocero then announced the launch of Gender Proud, a campaign aimed at bringing awareness to the fact that only a few countries allow transgender people to update the gender on their legal documentation without first having to undergo forced sterilization or genital surgery.

Having legal documentation that doesn't match one's appearance can be a major source of anxiety for transgender individuals and opens the door for discrimination.

Rocero is probably best known as the woman who stars alongside The Weeknd in the super trippy music video for his song "The Knowing."

Twitter Has Words for LeBron James' Rap Game (@kingjames)

LeBron James surprised everyone on Tuesday when he released a freestyle over Jay Z's "F*ckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt" with his childhood friend Sian Cotton.

On the track, called "Kingdom," the Heat baller raps about his money, cars, and yacht. While the song is all in good fun and it's highly doubtful that LeBron has any aspirations to make it as a rapper, folks on Twitter still went in with some serious slander.

Pharrell Williams Talks About Uniqlo Collaboration [VIDEO]

Pharrell Wiliams is at his mainstream peak right now after scoring hits with Daft Punk and Robin Thicke last year and having ‘Happy’ top the Billboard Hot 100. Anybody who’s familiar with the producer knows his creative versatility expands beyond music. He’s a fashion icon, and one of his latest endeavors is his collaboration with Uniqlo.

The veteran hitmaker sat down for an interview for the line’s promo video. The two-minute clip shows he’s not just in the collaboration for exposure.

“It delivers a really good message of what apparel could be,” Williams said. “In terms of the high quality — the quality of the T-shirts that have been made.”

The new “i am OTHER” collection features 26 styles from headwear to T-shirts and will hit Uniqlo stores on April 14. The video features samples from the line.

Williams, along with Kanye West, is also collaborating with adidas on an eco-friendly apparel collection that’s set to debut this summer. Commes des Garcons, G-Star jeans and Moncler are also part of Williams’ growing list of fashion collaborators.

It was also announced yesterday that Skateboard P will be a host on season seven of ‘The Voice.’ Clearly, this producer isn’t the type to rest on his success.

Chris Brown's Attorney Asks Judge to Block Jail Transfer

Chris Brown’s attorney has asked a Los Angeles judge to block an order that would transfer the jailed crooner in federal custody to Washington, D.C. to face trial on an assault charge.

“We have no assurance he would it make it in time for the trial. Then, we’ve got no ability to get him back here,” Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos said in a court filing, according to the Los Angeles Times. “I don’t want him languishing there.”

The R&B singer is in jail and is due at trial on April 17 to face an assault charge, stemming from an October altercation in the nation’s capital. Last week, a D.C. judge authorized U.S. Marshals to transport Brown from Los Angeles for the trial.

However, Geragos proposed two options: block the federal order or permit him to escort Brown to the D.C. trial. A hearing is scheduled for Thursday (April 3) on Geragos’ motion.

If Brown gets convicted in the D.C. case, it will be considered a serious violation of the singer’s probation and the judge could sentence him up to four years in prison.

Meanwhile, Brown has sent a voicemail message via Karrueche Tran’s phone thanking his fans for their undying support. Also, Breezy’s video for ‘Loyal’ racked up 12.7 million views on YouTube since its premiere on March 24.
