Nike continues to prove that they are one of the most versatile footwear brands out by easily shifting gears from the hardwood to the woods. The Nike SFB Mountain looks like it could go up against Mother Nature in a wrestling match and come out on top.
The military-style boot was inspired by Nike’s founding father Bill Bowerman, who served in World War II. The durable water repellant Kevlar upper and a memory foam insole are probably an upgrade from what Bowerman wore in the war. They’re also extremely sporty with a silhouette that is reminiscent of the Air Jordan XX9 in shape.
The Nike SFB Mountain is available now at Nike.com for a hefty price tag of $300. Based on the various cities getting hit with massive snowstorms this winter season, these boots might be a worthy investment.
