A milli here, a milli there. Lil Wayne‘s issues with Cash Money have officially hit the courtroom. The rapper is suing the company to let him go, plus he wants a whopping $51 million.

Lil Wayne says Birdman and Cash Money have withheld millions from him for his delayed album ‘Tha Carter V,’ per legal documents obtained by TMZ. Sources tell TMZ that Cash Money was supposed to give Wayne $8 million as an advance to record the album in 2013 and another $2 million when he completed recording. Thus far, he’s received nothing. Wayne wants out of his label and a cool $51 million too.

Further, Wayne wants to be declared the joint copyright owner of all Young Money recordings, which includes Drake, Nicki Minaj and others. Earlier, we reported that Weezy wants to take all the artists he feels that he discovered with him when he ultimately jumps ship.
