It looks like 2015 will go down as the year of the baby boom. After much speculation, Justin Timberlake has officially announced that he’s going to be a dad. The singer went on Instagram today (Jan. 31) to celebrate his 34th birthday and to share wifey Jessica Biel’s baby bump.
In the photo, behind a snowcap mountain view, a bearded Timberlake is kissing Biel’s belly and looking up to the heavens. He writes in the caption, “Thank you EVERYONE for the Bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT. #BoyOrGirl #YouNeverKnow #WeDontEvenKnow #WeAreTakingBets.”
The ‘SexyBack’ crooner didn’t reveal the baby’s due date, but it’s still great news for the couple who have been married for two years.
Timberlake isn’t the only artist expecting a child this year. Both rappers Macklemore and Fabolous are in the father-to-be club this year with their respective spouses.
In addition, R&B singer Tank became a proud dad on New Year’s Day with his longtime girlfriend, Zena Foster.

Watch Rihanna's Behind-the-Scenes Video for 'FourFiveSeconds'
Last week, Rihanna premiered her new single ‘FourFiveSeconds,’ featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney. And now the ‘Stay’ singer is sharing a behind-the-scenes look of what the visual will look like.
In the sneak-peek clip, RiRi is on the set as she whispers to her fans the concept of the video, which is being helmed by directors Inez & Vinoodh. The Bajan beauty is au naturel with barely no makeup and slicked-back hair.
The ‘Diamond’ singer explains that West came up with the idea of a stripped-down video with “some real street denim, All-American look.” Rihanna then shows the viewers her vintage denim coat and reveals, “This is actually [West’s] jacket, this is some Sean John throwback vintage jacket, that is f—ing major.”
“Denim never goes out of style,” she adds. “It’s classic. It’s iconic, just like the f—ing Beatles.”
True indeed, Ms. Fenty.
West and McCartney doesn’t talk in the BTS video but they are clearly involved in the creative process. Overall, it looks like it’s going to be a bare-bones visual of Yeezy and RiRi performing their emotional lyrics, while Macca just strums on his guitar.
There’s no word on when the video will debut and Rihanna’s eight album, ‘R8,’ has no official release date yet.
However, there are rumors that the powerhouse trio will perform ‘FourFiveSeconds’ together at the 2015 Grammy Awards. We are crossing our fingers and toes for that to happen.

Dr. Dre Denies Requesting 'Peace Summit' with Suge Knight
Contrary to reports, Dr. Dre, apparently, didn’t request to meet Suge Knight to squash their long-standing beef.
Sources have told TMZ that Dre scoffed at reports claiming that he wanted Knight to come to the ‘Straight Outta of Compton’ movie set to make peace. This alleged peace summit, sparked a chain of events in which, Knight fatally ran over Terry Carter who brokered this alleged peace treaty between the two men.
Knight is currently in jail on $2 million bond on the charge of murder. Police believe that he intentionally ran over Carter. However, Knight’s attorney, James Blatt, said that it was an accident and that his client was in fear of his life after an altercation erupted.
Meanwhile, Carter’s family are calling Knight a murderer. The victim’s relative, who didn’t want to be identified, reportedly told TMZ that the incident was no accident.
She told the gossip website that Knight, who was in his pick-up truck, got into a fight with Cle “Bone” Sloan in the parking lot. Apparently, Knight hit Sloan with his truck and while Carter was coming to Sloan’s aid, Knight accelerated his truck in reverse and ran over Carter’s head.
When asked if she believe Knight’s statement that it was an accident, she quickly replied, “Hell no. It was murder.”
Knight has a court hearing scheduled for Tuesday (Feb. 3). In addition, the former Death Row Records CEO has another legal case pending involving his arrest in October 2014, for stealing a photographer’s camera. If convicted in that case, he could face 30 years in prison.

Bobby Shmurda’s Bail Has Been Posted
Bobby Shmurda has enlisted the services of “celebrity bail bondsman” Ira Judelson to cover his $ 2 million bail, according to a report from Bossip which was later confirmed by Complex. Shmurda’s attorney Kenneth J. Montgomery said the bail had been paid, but the government will need to investigate the funds to be sure they are from a legitimate source before he can be released. If all goes well, Bobby could be back on the streets as early as next week. Several of his co-defendants were reportedly denied bail at a hearing yesterday.

More details have emerged in the case of former rap mogul Suge Knight and the hit and run incident that left one man dead this week.
Bobbi Kristina Brown Found Unconscious in Tub
Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her home in Roswell, Ga., on Saturday (Jan. 31).
According to WSB-TV 2, Brown’s husband, Nick Gordon, and a friend found her in the tub not breathing and applied CPR until paramedics arrive.
The incident occurred less than two weeks prior to the anniversary of Houston’s death, who was found in a bathtub unconscious on Feb. 11, 2012 and later pronounced dead.
Police, who are still investigating the scene, say that Brown’s breathing has stabilized and is recuperating at North Fulton Hospital.
Reps for Bobbi Kristina Brown had no comment on the matter.

Man Shoots Teen While Acting Out Waka Flocka Flame's Lyrics [VIDEO]
Waka Flocka Flame’s music is known for getting crowds pumped up, but one of his songs was indirectly involved in a fatal shooting. A Florida man reportedly got too turned up while listening to Waka Flocka’s tune ‘Bustin’ at Em’ that he accidently shot and killed a teen.
The Atlanta rapper’s song is a hardcore track with bullet-riddled lyrics like, “Pow, pow, pow, pow / Shoot first, ask questions last” and “Ain’t no talking homie, I’m just bustin’ at em.”
According to WESH.com, 22-year-old Rodney Patrick was acting out the Waka Flocka’s lyrics when he picked up a gun that he thought was unloaded and shot his girlfriend’s 17-year-old brother. The victim, Douglas Winslow, was shot in the head and died instantly.
According to Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Patrick initially called 911 and lied to police and said that Winslow shot himself in the head. But after further investigation from police, it was discovered that Patrick killed the young teen.
“We’ve got a gun being waved around. We’ve got the safety being clicked on and off, a loaded gun,” said prosecutor Gary Beatty. “A reasonable person knows or should know that action can result in somebody’s death.”
Patrick is charged with manslaughter, tampering with evidence and possession of alprazolam, an anti-anxiety prescription drug. He’s currently in jail with no bond. If convicted, he faces 25 years in prison.

Rapper 50 Cent has been hit with a serious allegation by his ex-girlfriend Tatted Up Holly. The bodacious model posted a picture on Instagram accusing the New York rhymer of physical abuse.
The photo was a screen grab of what’s allegedly a text conversation between the her and Fif. The texts shows an irate Holly vowing to expose footage of the abuse while 50 asks her to calm down.
The photo came after a social media jab from 50 Cent. Media Takeout posted an article praising Holly as the “LATINA VERSION OF DEELISHIS” (the ‘Flavor of Love’ contestant). The G-Unit leader slandered her with a screenshot of the article and said, “This h– community p—-. Me, Trey, J.R., j,” implying that she also had relations with notorious R&B Lothario Trey Songz and basketball player J.R. Smith.
50 Cent has since posted an apology on his Instagram account, but he mysteriously deleted it. However, the good folks at Bossip took a snapshot of it. The caption reads:
“Public apology: this women[sic] is a good person she has been a good friend to me for a year. I enjoyed seeing her grow and progress in so many way in a short period of time. I have watched people hate her because of me, and it only made me want to see her accomplish more. She is a very special person. She looks up to me so I want to her this be known, to people who would love to see her down. I’m never gonna let that happen I’m way to[sic] big for that.”
Although no charges have been pressed, these are some serious allegations. It appears that Holly is not buying 50 Cent’s apology. Read her message below:

The Bajan songstress is being accused by fans of mimicking FKA twigs‘ look on the cover of i-D magazine’s Music Issue. Rihanna’s eccentric braided hair makes the cover stand out, which twigs’ supporters claim she adopted first. The ‘Video Girl’ singer has worn her hair in a similar style like this for her recent V magazine cover and, interestingly enough, on i-D as well. The video for ‘Pendulum‘ also features twigs bound by braided hair.
For many, this is a very serious matter.

Suge Knight's Beef With Dr. Dre Sparked Fatal Hit-and-Run
New details have surfaced in the fatal hit-and-run, in which Suge Knight accidentally ran over two men — killing one — after an altercation in Compton, Calif.
The former rap mogul’s attorney, James Blatt, said that Knight was lured into a fast-food restaurant parking lot for a meeting, which then escalated into altercation.
According to TMZ, Knight was invited to broker a peace treaty between himself and Dr. Dre while filming was underway on the set of the N.W.A biopic ‘Straight Outta Compton.’ Apparently, Knight got into a physical pushing match with Dr. Dre’s security team and was ordered to leave.
Later that afternoon, Knight received a call from Terry Carter, who wanted to meet with him at Tam’s Burgers’ parking lot to work things out. It was there that the 49-year-old music mogul was attacked by four people while inside of his truck.
Mr. Blatt told the Associated Press (via NBC Los Angeles) that the confrontation ended with his client accidentally running over the two men, including the deceased victim, 55-year-old Carter.
“It looks like he drove backward and struck the victims and then went forward and struck them again as he left,” said Lt. John Corina of the LA County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau. “It looked like it was an intentional act and would be treated as a homicide.”
Knight is currently in jail on charges of murder with a $2 million bail set. A court hearing is scheduled for Tuesday (Feb. 3).

Bobby Shmurda Could Be Released From Jail Next Week [VIDEO]
Bobby Shmurda has been going through a roller coaster ride in his legal case since his Dec. 17 arrest. However, there may be a silver lining in all of this.
According to Bossip, the ‘Hot N—-’ rapper could be out on bail next week. Ira Judelson, a bail bondsman, is working to get Shmurda, born Ackquille Pollard, and his brother, Jahvas, out of Rikers Island. The two have been in protective custody for the past month. He claims that he will put up the Brooklyn native’s $2 million bail.
Judelson, known as the bail bondsman to the stars, has been a savior in helping high-profile celebrities get out of bond. His previous clients include Ja Rule, Lawrence Taylor and Plaxico Burress.
“At the end of the day, I’m their bank. I’m the one who is going to be putting up the money to secure their appearance in court,” he said. “Bobby is relying on me to put up the $2 million to get him out the door, get him back to his family and get his music career back on track.”
As we previously reported, Shmurda and Jahvas pleaded not guilty to various conspiracy, weapon and narcotics charges. Meanwhile, fellow rapper Rowdy Rebel also pleaded not guilty to attempted murder, attempted assault, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and conspiracy. In addition, other GS9 members pleaded not guilty to slew of charges stemming from various alleged shootings in the city.
Shmurda’s attorney, Kenneth Montgomery, is eager to get the Brooklyn rapper out of custody so he can properly defend him. “We’re hopefully going to post bail for this young man, and move forward, and litigate this case,” he said.
Hopefully, Shmurda can get out and try to repair his fractured rap career and prepare for his defense. This is going to be the biggest fight he’s ever had in his life.

These days, Iggy Azalea‘s Twitter beefs have gotten just as much attention as her music. The rapper’s latest spat involves shoe designer Steve Madden, due to a “disgusting” photo shoot the brand released without her consent.
Now her boss T.I. is speaking out on the issue. He advises the blonde beauty to focus more on music and less on blasting people.
After a TMZ reporter asked the rapper if Iggy should be responding to every little criticism, Tip said this: “She should focus on what got her here. That’s her music, her performing, and continue to just present her talents to the world.”
Since this is Superbowl weekend, the Grand Hustle boss used an appropriate football analogy to explain how the Aussie rapper should handle herself.

New Music Releases – February 2015
January is usually the dry month for music. It wasn’t too bad this year, though. Lupe Fiasco dropped a great album and Joey Bada$$ sold a solid 58,000 to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. And don’t sleep: Jazmine Sullivan returned strong with a great album, ‘Reality Show.’
February is looking like another solid 28 days of music. Barring a surprise Kendrick Lamar or Kanye West release, Big Sean will have the biggest release with ‘Dark Sky Paradise. There’s been plenty of talk about Sean’s improvement over the past few months. ‘4th Quarter‘ and his guest spot on Meek Mill’s ‘B Boy‘ hinted at his solid rapping ability while ‘IDFWU’ proved he still has Billboard amicability. ‘Dark Sky Paradise,’ Sean’s comeback album following the disappointing ‘Hall of Fame,’ drops Feb. 24.
Other anticipated releases from the genre include projects by duos. Chris Brown and Tyga’s ‘Fan of a Fan 2′ — which caught headlines for its Kriss Kross-inspired cover — and Ghostface Killah and Canadian jazz trio BADBADNOTGOOD ‘Sour Soul’ are also expected to arrive.
