Debra Antney Speaks Out About Cyberbulling With 'No R.I.P.' (@DebraAntey)

On Monday's episode of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, Debra Antney discussed her cyberbulling initiative No R.I.P.

Antney, who lost her youngest son Kayo Redd after he committed suicide in December 2013 says she and her family faced scrutiny after his death.

The acronym, No Reckless Internet Posting aims to prevent media outlets and online users from posting hurtful comments on celebs and fellow peers. Part of the mission for No R.I.P. reads, "When you gossip and spread rumors and recklessly post about people's lives, you are speaking death - killing their spirits, killing their reputations, killing their relationships, killing their hope and so much more. Stop speaking death. No R.I.P."

Master P Loses Custody of Kids for Not Showing Up to Court

While problems within the Miller family have reportedly been pretty bad, it seem things just got worse for No Limit boss Master P. According to TMZ, Percy "Master P" Miller just lost custody of four of his kids because he didn't show up to court.

Sonya Miller was awarded sole custody of the kids and still claims that Master P left her without a dime even though his company No Limit has amassed the rapper a $200 million fortune through music, movies, clothing and more. Master P says he won't enable his wife with money until she becomes sober, claiming she has a drug and drinking problem.

Master P didn't respond to Sonya's legal docs and was requested in court to do so. He was also required to pay Sonya's $75k legal bill, which will now include sanctions for not showing up in court.

Jennifer Hudson Dazzles With 'Neverland' at 2014 Tony Awards

Jennifer Hudson might not be starring in the upcoming ‘Peter Pan’-inspired musical ‘Finding Neverland,’ but that doesn’t mean the show’s producers couldn’t ask her to perform one of the songs, ‘Neverland,’ at the 2014 Tony Awards Sunday night (June 8).

Dressed in a sparkling silver floor-length gown, J-Hud starts the song with the Darling Boys, telling them about the wonders of Peter Pan and the place where you don’t have to grow up. Although she doesn’t have to do much acting, the ensemble around her play their parts well. She does interact with them a bit, especially Peter, but she’s clearly there for her vocals — not her Academy Award-winning acting chops.

While she does an amazing job on this song, it may be the only time we’ll ever see this magic happen. At least we’ll have the video above to take in her sweet melodies all the way to land of the Lost Boys, Captain Hook and Tinker Bell.

Troy Ave Performs 'Your Style' at Pix11 Morning News [VIDEO]

The war of words surrounding Troy Ave as of late has clearly done nothing to slow down the buzz surrounding the 2014 XXL Freshman class member. Fresh off a performance at Hot 97′s Summer Jam, the Brooklyn, N.Y., rapper stopped by Pix11 Morning News to perform his Chase N. Cashe-produced single ‘Your Style’ and answer a few questions.

In his brief conversation with the Pix11 news anchors, Troy Ave explains where his rap name comes from and his feelings on being compared to 50 Cent. Perhaps the biggest revelation is Ave’s announcement that a major remix of ‘Your Style’ will be released soon. “It’s probably gonna be the top remix of the year,” Ave tells Pix11.

Slow of Slowbucks Responds to 'Snitch' Accusations

SlowBucksFacebook

Is Slow of the fashion and rap collective Slowbucks a snitch or is he just protecting his brand?

That’s what many people have been trying to determine ever since he and his lawyer, John P. Bostany, held a press conference last week regarding the now infamous chain snatching — allegedly ordered by 50 Cent — that occurred at Hot 97′s Summer Jam concert in New York City.

Some were surprised the Slowbucks founder hired a civil investigator, and they took the time to air him out on Twitter. “Shoutout the coward @SlowBucks for snitching on the homie, A.K.A. Tio, #MikeyFingers,” tweeted booking agent Mike Lighty. The tweet has since been deleted.

Soon after, Slow hit up Instagram to defend himself and the Slowbucks brand by saying he isn’t a snitch. “I see this snitching s— is getting outta hand,” he wrote.

“Da news conference ya’ll viewed was not about pressing charges or anything like that, it was about brand management. Da brand consultant was explaining da case 2 a panel of P.R., in an attempt 2 try 2 pull some bread out 4 da SlowBucks brand. However, the media will always show ya’ll what they want you 2 see. We not entertaining no police.”

And that wasn’t all Slow said. He also posted a photo with the following words: “Ya’ll n—-s got us f—ed up with this snitch s—,” the photo read. “We come from outside, and we gone be outside. We ain’t never been into that type of s—.”

But here’s the irony with hiring a civil investigator to protect the Slowbucks brand. Many will say Slow damaged his brand more by holding a press conference instead of letting things eventually subside. In hip-hop realms, once you’re branded a snitch, it’s hard to shake that title off. So it’ll be interesting to see if Slow made a wise decision or if he acted in haste. Only time will tell.

Childish Gambino Hints at Collaborative EP With Chance the Rapper

Two of hip-hop’s buzzy newcomers may be joining forces. Childish Gambino hints that he and Chance the Rapper are in the studio working on a new EP together.

Gambino took to Twitter to make the announcement. “now that chance finally released his verse on “worst guys”, maybe he can hurry up and finish the rest of our EP. #hinthint,” he tweeted over the weekend.

Chance performed his lost ‘The Worst Guys’ verse during his set at Governors Ball this weekend in New York City.

So when will this new project see the light of day? There’s no word on a release date just yet but by the looks of Childish Gambino’s tweet, it’s up to Chance to get back in the studio to complete his part.

This wouldn’t be the first time the two have collaborated together. Chance featured Childish on ‘Favorite Song,’ a track on his ‘Acid Rap’ mixtape. And the latter put Chance on his song ‘They Don’t Like Me,’ off his ‘Royalty’ mixtape.

Both rappers have had a busy 2014. Amid battling tonsillitis earlier this year, Chance was named as a 2014 XXL Freshman, collaborating with artists like Justin Bieber. Gambino has been hard at work promoting his ‘Because the Internet’ album via his Deep Web Tour. The actor-rapper openly had issues with his label’s promotion of the project and has stated that he wants to go another route for his next release.
