With Christmas being two weeks away, artists are releasing their holiday albums and performing yuletide ditties on television programs. On Wednesday (Dec. 10), R&B songbird Ashanti appeared on ‘The View’ to perform the holiday classic, ‘Santa Baby.’

Decked out in a light-grey sequined dress that draped to the floor, the 34-year-old singer channeled the late actress Eartha Kitt who first performed the song back in 1953.

Besides being pitch-perfect, Ashanti also looked wonderful, wearing flawless makeup, a slicked back ponytail and singing the tune very seductively.

The singer’s rendition of ‘Santa Baby’ is on her holiday album ‘A Wonderful Christmas With Ashanti,’ which she dropped back in 2013.

In other news, the former Murder Inc. vocalist is rumored to be dating Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson. The couple were spotted together at a restaurant where the footballer was celebrating his 27th birthday.
