It really wasn’t that long ago when the infamous elevator video leaked and rumors circulated that a divorce for Jay Z and Beyonce was imminent. But the reports were wrong; it looks like hip-hop’s most powerful couple is still going strong.
People magazine reports that Bey and Jay have renewed their vows and they’re currently looking for a home together in Paris. Last month, details about the ceremony, which was reportedly held in Corsica, France, emerged. The two wanted to move past the negativity and after six years of marriage, reaffirm their love for one another.
The divorce rumors weren’t completely unfounded, though; People’s source says that, “They did have major problems.” Of course, the specifics regarding those problems are unclear.
The couple has been spending time in Paris as of late. During the On the Run tour finale in the City of Love in September, Jay Z said the European location was the place where he and Beyonce got engaged and Blue Ivy was conceived.
The two have been house-hunting there and Beyonce’s website has been posting pictures of the family’s visit. According to those pictures, all is well between Bey and Hov.
