Exclusive! Charlamagne: Game Didn't Need to Help Tyga vs. Durk (@cthagod)

The Breakfast Club and MTV2's Charlamagne tha God chopped it up with VladTV about the Tyga vs. Lil Durk beef, saying that Game didn't have to jump in to help Tyga, as he would've been able to handle it on his own.

"I don't like Tyga as a rapper...he make some stuff that's kind of hot in the club, but I'm not going out to buy the next Tyga album...but i'm pretty sure Tyga could've held his own against Lil Durk...I didn't see no need for a lyricist like Game, 'cuz Game is a lyricist...to jump in that."

He then shared that he sees no point in beefing with rappers from Chicago, because they will take it beyond rap very quickly.

Lastly he explains how all this "n***a sh*t" doesn't entertain him in the least anymore.

Be sure to check out Charlamange's hit show, "Guy Code," on MTV 2. Charlamagne's witty personality, commanding presence, and influential opinions have earned him the starring role on this classic comedy series. Tune in to see Charlamagne on MTV 2's Guy Code on Weds. nights at 11PM.

Kendrick Lamar Drops Half a Mill on Modest California Home (@kendricklamar, @topdawgent)

Compton's Kendrick Lamar has never been the flashy type. We rarely see him with icy chains, expensive cars or throwing money at chicks in the club. He's always had a humble aura about him, and that's ringing even more true with his latest and some would say most important purchase; his first home.

Lamar dropped about half a mill ($523,500 to be exact) on a modest 4-bedroom home in Eastvale, CA. Clocking in at an hour's drive outside of LA, he clearly chose to go the more discreet route instead of purchasing a beach home in Malibu or mansion in Bel Air.

The home is of decent size, coming in at roughly 7,800 square feet, but is a far cry from the typical rap "crib." His fellow Compton rapper Tyga reportedly purchased a 9,280-square-foot home in Cali's rich Calabasas neighborhood for a reported $6.5 million.

Check out the home above.

Jay Z has parted ways with his longtime business partner John Meneilly, reports the New York Daily News. It’s unclear what prompted the split and how it was received, though. One source believes the decision was “amicable and mutual,” while another insider claims Meneilly didn’t want to leave, saying “it wasn’t his choice.”

A former Provident Financial executive, John Meneilly has been by Hov’s side for more than a decade. He was instrumental in establishing the Rocawear clothing brand, as well as striking Jay’s unprecedented deal with Samsung last year that guaranteed a million sales of ‘Magna Carta… Holy Grail.’

Meneilly has also been a key player in the evolution of Roc Nation, which has grown from a record label to an artist management service and sports agency which boasts stars like Rihanna, J. Cole and Robinson Cano on its roster.

Iggy Azalea Makes Chart History with 'Fancy' on Billboard Hot 100

Having dominated club playlists and radio airwaves over the past few months, Iggy Azalea‘s ‘Fancy‘ continues to surge in popularity and now sits atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The Aussie rhymer’s collaboration with Charli XCX dethroned John Legend’s ‘All of Me,’ which held the No. 1 spot for three straight weeks after leapfrogging Pharrell Williams’ ubiquitous song ‘Happy’ earlier this month.

Azalea becomes only the fourth solo female rapper in Billboard’s Hot 100 history to have a No. 1 hit.

The 23-year-old artist joins Lauryn Hill who had her big hit with ‘Doo Wop (That Thing)’ in 1998. In 2001, Lil Kim had her first pop chart-topper with Christina Aguilera, Mya and Pink on ‘Lady Marmalade,’ and Shawnna topped the Hot 100 with Ludacris on ‘Stand Up’ in 2003.

Azalea can also celebrate being the first act since the Beatles to simultaneously occupy the top two spots with their first Hot 100 hits as her ‘Problem‘ song with Ariana Grande jumps to No. 2 on the tally.

Iggy took to social media to share her excitement. She tweeted:
