Self-Described 'Fat Girl Dancer' Works It Like a Champ

Whitney Thore started dancing when she was four years old, but stopped in college after experiencing inexplicable weight gain.

"Unable to face my reflection, I failed out of dance class my first semester," Thore told The Huffington Post in an email. "By the time I had graduated college, been diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, moved to Korea, and gained 200 pounds, I was finally able to dance socially, at a club or party, but never dreamed I would take a class or perform publicly ever again."

Believing her dancing days were over, the blogger and radio producer decided to take a chance and make a "Fat Girl Dancing" video series at the suggestion of Jared Pike, one of the hosts of the morning radio show she produces.

We'd say she's well up to the task. Check out Thore cutting a rug to Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty to Me" up top.

Tatyana Ali Returns to Music With a Performance of 'Wait For It' on 'Arsenio'

Tatyana Ali is returning to music. The actress, most known for her role on ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,’ debuted her new song, ‘Wait For It,’ on ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ Tuesday night (Feb. 4).

‘Wait For It’ is an upbeat track centered on finding a love that takes your breath away. The effort is part of Tatyana’s new five-song EP, ‘Hello,’ which was released independently by the singer.

The 35-year-old Brooklyn, N.Y., native released her last album, ‘Kiss the Sky,’ in 1998. On ‘Hello,’ she’s returning with a more mature vibe. “It’s been a really long time since I’ve done anything musically,” she told Arsenio. “I feel like I’m really able to be myself… It’s an introduction.”

Recently, Tatyana was back in the headlines when she was linked romantically to fellow actor-singer Drake. She spoke about the rumored romance when their hang session hit the news, remaining coy. Drake, on the other hand, shouted Tatyana out on his ‘Tuscan Leather’ with the line, “The fresh prince, just had dinner with Tatyana, no lie / All these ’90′s fantasies on my mind / The difference is that with mine, they all come true in due time.”

Could Drake be the love she sings about on ‘Wait For It’? Tell us what you think in the comments below.

50 Cent Partners With NASCAR

50 Cent is steadily expanding his growing business empire. The rapper and entrepreneur is linking his SMS Audio with NASCAR.

The partnership involves backing driver Brandon Davis with Fif’s SMS Audio brand. “I’m an entrepreneur, 50′s an entrepreneur. That piece is it, is the synergy that pulled it all together,” said Davis, the owner of Swan Racing. “You have two entrepreneur-minded people coming together.”

The driver praised the rapper’s love of cars too. “He’s a car guy. He’s into cars, into muscle cars, into fast cars, high-end cars, exotic cars. And one thing I’ve learned with people in different areas is, once they experience a race, if they’re already into cars and speed, you go to a NASCAR race and you’re hooked. I’m sure that had something to do with it.”

As part of the deal, 50 Cent will make appearances at races throughout the NASCAR season. In a statement, he called the pairing “the perfect match” for SMS Audio.
