Pop superstar Ariana Grande performed ‘Just a Little Bit of Your Heart at the 2015 Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 8).
After a brief introduction by ‘In the Woods’ actress Anna Kendrick, who saluted the songbird’s “powerful voice,” Grande emerged under a cloud of smoke, as she stood on a pedestal in a gorgeous purple gown. Backed by a 10-piece orchestra and a pianist, the pint-sized songbird let her voice do all of work as she serenaded the audience with the ballad.
You can tell she was a little nervous — there was no way Big Sean could jump onstage and calm her nerves — but the 21-year-old chanteuse was able to showcase her vocal skills and hit the high notes just right.
Grande’s understated performance will certainly be among the highlights of the night.
