Nicki Minaj recently called in to Hot 97 to chop it up with Ebro, Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez about her upcoming album, Summer Jam, business ventures and more. However, the part of the interview that has Hip-Hop talking is her desire to hit the studio with fellow New York MC Remy Ma when she's released from prison this coming July.
"That would make me very happy. That would be very exciting....as soon as she get out, holler at me, let's do something."
Remy Ma was sentenced to 8 years in prison back in 2008 for shooting ex-friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph in the stomach over suspicions she had stolen cash from the Bronx rapper. Husband, Brooklyn rapper Papoose, announced back in February that Remy would be released this summer, and two days ago took to Instagram to share the exact date. Remy will be coming home July 31st.
