Locksmith Showcases Elite Lyricism in 'Archaic' Freestyle Video

Every time Locksmith touches the microphone, he displays why he’s one of the best lyricists in the rap game today. As he preps for the release of his new album, the Bay Area rhymer administers another round of lyrical wizardry with this video for his ‘Archaic’ freestyle.

The track may be short, but it packs plenty of punch. Locksmith takes the competition to task on this powerful freestyle which he co-produced alongside Mike Blankenship. The video is straightforward and keeps the focus on Lock’s every word as he dazzles with his rhyming ability.

Lock raps, “But I guess it’s all relative / slow n—-s rap and sound like you off sedatives / every now and then, found an end to expound a trend / claiming you profound when the sound is all repetitive / whatever lives in your soul is so blinded / either you don’t mind it or don’t realize that your close-minded.”

Locksmith’s album ‘A Thousand Cuts’ will be released on April 15th and can be pre-ordered now on iTunes.
