Report Shows Almost No One Uses Condoms In New York City

The Department of Health released a community survey conducted in 2012 that shows that virtually no one in the Big Apple is interested in practicing safe sex.

According to the New York Observer, 68.2 percent of participants said they didn't use protection with the last person they had sex with. If you do the math, that adds up to 1.4 million New Yorkers are using protection while a whopping 2.6 million are using 'other' methods.

The biggest neighborhood that isn't interesting in condoms is Greenpoint, Brooklyn. The report says that 85.8 of the Brooklyn natives aren't using the glove.

The report doesn't state whether partners are on a birth control or another contraceptive, but the numbers are alarming.
