Embattled rapper Bobby Shmurda received some good news earlier this week as he sits in prison on a multitude of charges, including conspiracy, reckless endangerment, criminal possession of a weapon and more.

According to Revolt, the New York rhymer’s Brooklyn gun case will get dismissed thanks to his gung-ho attorney Howard Greenberg.

“Brooklyn D.A. office announced that the gun case in Brooklyn will be dismissed in about two weeks,” he told the website.

The Brooklyn case he’s referring to involves an incident in which Shmurda allegedly fired a gun at a crowd of people outside of a barbershop. There was also another incident in which the ‘Hot N—-’ rapper was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminally using drug paraphernalia after police discovered two loaded guns and drug paraphernalia inside his Brooklyn apartment.

Greenberg also dispel rumors that’s been circulating on the web that Shmurda was seriously injured in a prison brawl and is in the infirmary in critical condition.

“Bullshit,” he said. “Saw him [last week] in court. He looked fantastic.”

Although Shmurda’s gun case is no more, the rapper has a Jan. 29 trial on a myriad of other criminal charges. Greenberg seems confident that his client will be cleared on those cases as well.

“Brooklyn is done and now it’s on to Manhattan, where we need to teach these adversaries a lesson,” he said.
