T.I. Not Scared of Ebola, Travels to Africa for Planned Concert [PHOTO]

Rapper T.I. is not going to let Ebola stop him from promoting his upcoming new album ‘Paperwork.’ On Friday (Oct. 17), the Atlanta native arrived in Africa for a scheduled weekend concert in Tanzania.

Tip posted a photo collage on Instagram showing himself going through the Ebola Checking Center. The Grand Hustle leader is also wearing a mask for added protection as well.

“Just touched dwn in #Ethiopia Headed to #Tanzania #DaBoysDoneMadeItToAfrica #HustleGangInternational,” he wrote.

The Ebola virus has been in the news lately after two people in the United States tested positive for the strain. In Africa, Liberia has been the worst affected country with 2,316 victims, followed by 930 in Sierra Leone, 778 in Guinea and eight in Nigeria and one in the U.S., according to the World Health Organization.

T.I. is in Tanzania to perform at the Serengeti Fiesta event. The rapper and his crew should be safe since Tanzania has no known cases so far. Of course, everyone is taking the necessary precautions to not contract the virus.

Tip seems to be enjoying his trip so far. On Saturday (Oct. 18), he posted a photo of the beautiful oceanview outside of his hotel room. “My view from da room of da [Indian] Ocean…. #tanzania,” reads the caption.

T.I.’s ninth album ‘Paperwork’ will drop on Tuesday (Oct. 21). You can listen to the album here.
