Drake Closes Out Coachella 2015, Makes Out With Madonna [VIDEO]

If you watched Drake‘s headlining set during Coachella Sunday night (April 12), you were treated to a solid performance from the Toronto rapper in addition to his makeout session with the Queen of Pop, Madonna.

Drizzy, sporting a red-hooded bomber jacket, moved through songs off his new project, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late as well as tracks from his vast catalog of hits. He kicked off the show with “Legend,” his Lil Wayne-assisted track “The Motto” (without Weezy present) and newer collabos like “Truffle Butter” though Nicki Minaj didn’t bless the stage. The MC delivered without a misstep and had the crowd chanting the lyrics along with him.

The big moment of the night that turned social media into a firestorm was when Madonna hit the stage. Madge stepped onto the stage, now decorated in a theme reminiscent of The Land Before Time, performing her classic “Human Nature” and “Hung Up.” The singer strutted over to Drake, who was now seated, and began making out with the rhymer. The steamy kiss ended with a declaration. “Bitch, I’m Madonna,” she stated. “Oh s—, what the f— just happened?” Drizzy asked, with a look of amazement on his face.

Fans and critics alike responded to the unexpected PDA and not all of the words were positive. “So @Drake proves that kissing @Madonna is about as ghastly as I always imagined it would be,” Piers Morgan tweeted, along with a clip of Drake throwing his hands up to his mouth in disgust. Another Twitter user followed the sentiment. “Madonna looked like she took part of Drake soul,” Sheldon Kooper wrote.
