Ziggy Marley is helping artists take their careers to the next level — and you could be the chosen one. The legendary reggae crooner has been tapped to curate the third annual GRAMMY Amplifier contest, alongside country group the Band Perry and singer-songwriter Allen Stone.

Spearheaded by Hyundai and the Recording Academy, hitmaker Mark Ronson will serve as the Ambassador for the music initiative, which is currently underway. The curators will review video submissions to find top-notch talent, whether it be a rapper, singer, country star or rocker.

Hyundai is partnering with Billboard to announce the 2015 GRAMMY Amplifier program at Thursday’s (Feb. 5) Billboard Power 100 Event, which celebrates honorees of Billboard’s fourth annual Power 100 list. Neil Portnow, President of the Recording Academy, will announce this year’s program and introduce a special performance by Allen Stone and Bonavox, one of the 2014 GRAMMY Amplifier Winners.

As part of the 2015 GRAMMY Amplifier program, 25 finalists will be chosen for mentoring, which will then be reduced to a shortlist. Ronson will have the final say in selecting the three winners.

Among the prizes the three finalists will be awarded include:

1. A studio recording session with a GRAMMY-winning producer.

2. Filming and starring in their own music video with a noted director.

3. Securing an opening spot for a noted musician and/or at a music festival.

Winners will be announced at a GRAMMY Amplifier showcase at SXSW 2015 in Austin, Texas. The festival runs March 17-22.

Aspiring artists can submit their videos now at grammyamplifier.com. Plus, you have the chance to vote for your favorite artist.

Ziggy Marley is a 12-time GRAMMY winner. The 46-year-old reggae singer won his first golden gramophone in 1988 for the album, ‘Conscious Party,’ which featured the Melody Makers. In 2013, Ziggy won Best Reggae Album for his concert LP, ‘Ziggy Marley in Concert.’ This year, Ziggy is nominated for a GRAMMY in the Best Reggae Album category for his solo album, ‘Fly Rasta.’

The 2015 GRAMMY Awards will air live from Los Angeles on Feb. 8 at 8PM ET on CBS.
