Rap reissue label Rappcats and streetwear brand Stussy have teamed up to present a limited edition all-vinyl figurine of the late producer J Dilla.

The figure is 7.5 inches tall and was conceived by Detroit artist Sintex and designed and sculpted by Seoul-based toy artist P2PL.

Features include a removable Detroit baseball cap, a silver doughnut chain — to signify his ninth album, ‘Donuts’ — an MPC sampler and an officially licensed Stussy T-shirt. In addition, the toy will come in a clamshell case inside a custom-made box.

Purchasing this piece of art is a great way to honor the late studio maverick, who passed away on Feb. 10, 2006, at age 36 from Lupus.

Limited to only 2,000 pieces made, it’s available for pre-orders now at Rappcatts.com. February 2015, nine years since Dilla’s untimely death, is when you can expect it to arrive.

The J Dilla figure is an official Pay Jay Productions, which was founded by Dilla. Proceeds from the sale of the toy go to his Estate, run by his mother, Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey.
