Dr. Dre's $3 Million Lawsuit Against Death Row Dismissed (@drdre)

While Dr. Dre is surely riding high on his recent Beats/ Apple merger deal and being offered the key to his beloved city of Compton, he won't be making any bread off of Death Row's back, as a judge recently dismissed his case against the label for unpaid royalties filed in February.

According to The Wrap, Dre was seeking revenue earned from the label while it was under Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The legendary producer claimed $676,444 in licensing royalties, $1.2 mill for artist/producer royalties and just under $1.2 mill for digital sales of music produced or performed by him.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Vincent Zurzolo ruled that contracts signed before Death Row filed for bankruptcy are void, therefore he gets nothing.

Small thing to a giant.
