Soulja Boy may have a full supply of lean, but he's worried about the people that don't.
According to TMZ, the rapper is upset that Actavis, the company behind the promethazine and codeine medicine is stopping production of the product after it's heavy use in the drink lean- made popular by rappers and Soulja Boy himself.
Soulja says that Actavis is running away from money and isn't thinking about the effects that yanking it off the shelves will do for patients who need the medicine. He also says that he uses it to sleep while he's touring.
"As far as the lean goes, just know I been had the juice since 2011." he said.
Sizzurp has been said to inspire Houston's DJ Screw to create the Chopped & Screw sound, named dropped in several hip hop songs over the past 10 years, and led to death of UGK's Pimp C who overdosed on lean and prescription pills in 2007.
