Powerhouse duo Alicia Keys and Kendrick Lamar formed like voltron and performed their anthemic song ‘It’s On Again’ from the ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2.’
Wearing a Los Angeles Dodgers cap, K.Dot kicked the performance off with a blistering verse while Keys played a wistful melody on the piano. Backed by composer Hans Zimmer and the Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, the R&B songbird sang the soaring lyrics to the Pharrell Williams-produced song.
Elsewhere, Jamie Foxx appeared on the show to talk about his role in the Spidey flick, which swings into theaters May 2. The multi-talented singer beatbox with the Roots while Black Thought rapped a freestyle.
Foxx also jumped on the piano to sing unsexy words sexily.
“I said floss, staycation, tupperware, sandpaper, deodorant, Birkenstock and loofah (Luther),” he crooned oh-so sexily.
