Two Dead After News Helicopter Crashes in Downtown Seattle

Details are still coming in, but it's being reported that two people are dead after a news helicopter crashed in Seattle just yards from the Space Needle.

ABC News reports the chopper was owned by network affiliate KOMO.

The news station says the chopper crashed as it was lifting off from the roof of its building and clipped the wall, plummeting to the street and exploding atop two cars in a massive fireball.

Two people were killed and another was sent to the hospital in critical condition, reports ABC.
