Chief Keef In Custody Following Shooting at Manger's Mansion

Chicago artist Chief Keef is reportedly in police custody following a shooting at a mansion owned by the rapper’s manager.

According to WGN-TV, a victim was shot at the residence located in Northfield, Ill. Sources say that Keef drove the unidentified victim to a local hospital. Police have confirmed a person is in ICU at North Shore Skokie Hospital after being shot Wednesday morning (March 26).

Keef’s attorney confirmed with TMZ that the rapper was nearby during the shooting but insists that Keef wasn’t the shooter.

Northfield police have roped off a six-block radius from the home and are currently investigating the incident.

Ironically, just a day before the shooting, Keef went on his Instagram page and posted photos of himself and his friend holding firearms.

Keef was recently released from his 90-day stint in rehab. On March 5, the ‘I Don’t Like’ rhymer was arrested for DUI after police stopped him for having expired tags on his 2010 Jeep Cherokee.
