50 Cent Speaks On Relationship With Lloyd Banks (@50Cent @Lloydbanks)

50 Cent hasn't been seen publicly with his G-Unit affiliates for sometime now. The group made up of Young Buck, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks have all seen minimal success since their heyday in mid 2000's. While his relationships with Young Buck and Tony Yayo are fragile, fans questioned if 50 was still on good terms with Banks.

During his interview for MTV, he explains that Banks wanted his independence and how he treated his friend may have been the cause of it.

"I think he wanted his independence," 50 said. "They're like my little brothers, so sometimes I say things to them that make them feel uncomfortable."

The rapper is referring to Banks' father passing during the time of his sophmore album Rotten Apple in 2006. 50 believes that he was harsh on Banks and told him he should keep pushing after his father's death.

"[Banks'] father passed away and I was like, 'Alright, he passed away, but you can't just go home and stay home.' He went home and just stayed at the house. Ask Kanye, his mother passed away while his record was at a peak point. If he didn't go on tour, he wouldn't be the Kanye you know right now. He worked his way through that situation; the world doesn't stop."

50 also says that there were many other tragedies that occurred while they were touring and believed Banks used it as an excuse.

"We lost...Probably 5 or 6 people got killed while we been on the road prior to him actually behaving that way. We don't stop what we've been doing. To me, it's an excuse."

Do you think he's right?
