Rihanna Telling Gay Fan He's Going to Hell Was Allegedly a Hoax (@rihanna)

UPDATE: The fan now claims the screengrab of the IG comments was photoshopped. He also issued an apology to Rihanna, which you can see up top.

Despite Rihanna voicing her support for gay rights in Russia less than a week ago, the Barbadian songstress allegedly believes gays are destined for hell.

Last Saturday Rih Rih posted a photo of herself wearing a beanie embroidered with "P6," referring to Principle 6, a campaign against Russia's draconian anti-gay laws. She accompanied the pic with the hashtag, #AntiDiscrimination.

However, it would seem Rihanna may have contradicted herself after calling out a gay fan who commented on one of her birthday cake photos.

The fan wrote, "Rihanna u going to hell girl." And Rihanna allegedly responded, "Arnt you gay? ... Nuff said blah!" The comments have since been deleted.
